We thought this fleece pouch would be a great idea for our shy kitten. But she's skeptical about the wires in her mouth and the middle of the bag. Yes I understand; The wire should hold it open. After making a small hole in the fabric as another reviewer suggested and removing the center wire (which was fairly easy), the kitten is now sleeping on top of the flattened pocket, but doesn't get close when the wire does is broken. keep the bag open. Even our other, more assertive cat will have nothing to do with the wire holding the lid open. not even with catnip sprinkled in. The price is acceptable within 12-14 dollars, the design is reliable. This is a great cat bed liner if you just want to toss it in the wash or put it on the bottom of a pet carrier. Not a bad product. My fluffy babies just hate wire.
