There is nothing wrong with this product. I have had chemicals in my hair for over 30 years. He repaired the damage. I also use the conditioner that comes with this shampoo. My hair is thick and slightly longer than my shoulders. I love how it softens and detangles tangles when used with conditioner. I would add that I have always used a spray in a leave-in conditioner (Matrix Instacure).
