My kitten reacts to this by stopping quickly. While I have a few sheets on the inaccessible sides and top of a lazy boy's fabric chair, on two other sheets I also removed just one side (flat, not shiny) and let the sheets float around where the kitty likes to repeatedly run (forgot my reply to "Stop!").
