The most important feature is the volume on/off button - fragile
This little radio has excellent performance. MP3 playback, shortwave, AM FM, reading light. The problem with my radio is that the volume control is weak. AM reception is poor. Shortwave doesn't exist unless you get external antennas. The speaker wheezes and wheezes at about half volume. I only use this radio to listen to MP3s at night while I sleep. I bought it to listen to AM talk radio but it has trouble picking up the AM stations I want to listen to too. My 2 cents. ;)
