CD player as good as new after belt replacement
Replacing these tapes requires disassembling the Sony CD player. To access the pulleys on the back of the device, you must remove the top cover and back panel. Not difficult but requires some maintenance skills. Belts could be put on easily after dismantling. The entire repair took less than an hour.
- If your CD player does not work or is making noises, in most cases it is due to the two drive belts.
