The cable connector was twisted into the bracket and.

The very first problem I noticed was that the bolts and nuts that came with it were not stainless steel and were too long. The second issue was the cable connector rotating in the bracket after installation. I ended up drilling 2 holes in my connector through 2 holes in the bracket and then added 2 more S/S screws.
