Nuriel likes this thing. I wasn't sure if it would or not but I decided to go ahead and give it a try. At first he was scared, but this is my cat. He's an idiot and I love him. In any case, he fell asleep in it on the second trip. In the pictures I called his name to wake him up and he looked at me like that. Leave me alone. He's quite comfortable with that. This is a young adult cat, long and connected but not fat. I could imagine a 14 pound bullet in that backpack, but you'd have to stuff it. Not cool. If you have a fat cat, don't mess with this stretcher. She gets a lot of attention and lots of compliments. I took off a few stars for quality and durability. The backpack isn't designed for intensive use, and the hood isn't that reliable. My cat is a genius and she can step out of this pack if left unattended or if she's feeling particularly aggressive.
