Survivor Harvey: I ordered this on a whim and then regretted it and didn't use it for a few months, that is until Hurricane Harvey rolled in. Look, my little trailer is parked on a barrier island off the Texas coast about 40 miles east of Rockport, and there's no way I can get it off the island without hiring a $1,200 ship to bring it back, and I would not do that. . so in the short term anyway. So we rushed there, secured the trailer and locked it as best we could AND covered the trailer with our Classic Accessory Cover. Back home, we spent days watching the news, watching the hurricane make landfall, and keeping a close eye on the winds. All I knew was that my trailer was in tatters and just thinking about it made me sick. After everything was sorted out we went there as soon as possible, taking all sorts of cleaning tools and paraphernalia with us for the long boat ride across the bay. What we found was pretty amazing, the pendant was still in place and it still had that cover on it. It had a few rips, some of the zippers came undone and a few straps came loose, but I was amazed to see that it was still in place and still protecting my possessions. We carefully removed the lid and found that our little fish camp was still completely intact, not a single cover, vent or panel had been displaced in any way and NO water had entered the top or sides. The storm surge hit the ground but stayed a few inches below the ground, we weathered this storm 100% apart from losing some loose items and I can say without a shadow of a doubt it wouldn't have been if I wouldn't have done it attached Classic accessory case for our trailer. It has been a fantastic investment and I will be ordering a replacement cover soon to replace the one Harvey damaged, well worth it.
