This was a gift for young women whose favorite colors are pink and red. Most "women" handkerchiefs are smaller and thinner, and stripes are a welcome change from all the floral designs. I love that it's all cotton and not a blend; and there is no uneven embroidery to limit its practical use. They machine wash well, stay square and air dry quickly with no significant wrinkling.
