Review on Kamikoto 7In. Santoku Chef Knife by Kristin Bridges

Bought this knife more as a curiosity then a need for a new knife. I have used Wusthof exclusively for 30 years and I love them. Went through ebay payment system, thus the review. The knife comes in a wooden box, mine was broken upon arrival, both hinges were completely broken off and the lid was sitting on top. I would have enjoyed storing in the box, but the box is junk(nice wood). On to the knife. HMMMM I am getting used to the Santoku design, compared to the normal chef knife shape like my 8 inch chef. The blade is extremely sharp and the balance is pleasant. I use this for veggies, meat, trimming, etc. I can't say this will replace my wusthof as my every day knife, but it is what they claim it to be, a very capable chef knife. I would not hesitate to purchase the three knife set, but the wusthofs are not ready for retirement and my wife says I have too many knives. I love cooking and my knives are my tools. Thank You Kamikoto for a nice knife.
