I found the compartments too deep and too small to be useful. Combined with an aftermarket top shelf that is longer than factory, it is impossible to access the center compartments without removing the shelf. You can always remove some of the dividers to gain access to the rest of the compartments, but then that just isn't useful enough to justify it. I returned it.
