Hard to decide how many stars to give this. It's a beautiful clock that I expect to enjoy for many years. Problem is, it arrived broken. Given the packaging, I'm going to assume it was revain's fault and not the clockmaker. The clock was in its own box, which revain had placed inside a much larger box (as they often do). But the only padding in the larger box was a single piece of laughingly small paper--not even a bubble or pillow, just paper, and that wasn't crumpled or anything. Just a small piece of paper tossed in the box. The clock box clearly had way too much room to slide around and suffer impact shock, and the entire clock face mechanism broke from its mountings and was loose inside the clock body. The hands and clock face were not damaged, and I'll fix it with some glue, but someone who can't or doesn't want to do that would have to try to return it. Not good.
