We bought these to cover up some open bug bites which required an ointment on my son's leg so he could play safely in the water. They work well and can be cut to the size you want. We never let them float like we hoped because with a lot of movement they start to drag on the edges and when water gets in they come loose. We used it to wash the ointment off his clothes and played with the sprinkler instead. They can stick with you for a few days, even in the shower if you're not a violent little kid.
