This car air vent mount comes with two sizes of air vent clips (longer and shorter) and also has adhesive foam to attach flat to the front of your car. I don't tape my car, so that's not even an option. Also, it seemed like two pieces of foam would never support my phone's weight, even without a case. I always carry a case with me for my phone and the one I use now has a very slim profile that literally doesn't add bulk to my phone. Search found it compatible with my new phone. After a lot of fiddling, I installed the bracket. I had a hard time rotating the clips so they were facing the right direction in my car's vent clips. Once done it held up and seemed solid. I was excited to try it and thought it might be just the mount I was looking for. Unfortunately, even when I remove the case from my phone (which I hate), this air vent mount does not fit my phone. . My husband was finally able to remove it and in doing so, one clip broke off and the other buckled so much it stopped working. Unfortunately it ended up in the trash. So it doesn't work for me and I don't think it will work for S6 because they are the same size as my phone. It is definitely not suitable for large Apple phones. If you have a smaller phone it might work for you, but be careful with those flimsy clips. I received the vent mount at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
