Bought to replace a rusty mailbox that is older than my wife and I together. It was nice to have an installation guide although I didn't use it. It came with nice long screws and drywall anchors. I really only got it as a temporary replacement until moving house. I'm sure the postal workers didn't dare touch the tetanus trap I took off. Magazines are fine, but be prepared for scratches on the spine. And advertising sticks out of the slot. I would go for a horizontal mailbox if you don't want your mail to bend or wobble. However, the mailbox is still solid. I regret getting the combo because I mostly check it out at night and my porch light is on, but that's not a problem with the box.
