I see several reviews mentioning this as a toy. Bought for real shooting. We used the old-fashioned applause method, which doesn't lend itself to aligning multiple videos on the timeline. Decided to give it a try - love it! This sharpens the sound enough to create a visible spike in the sound in the timeline. It makes it much easier to align your different films. It's durable and I expect to be able to use it for a long time. Highly recommended when working with different tracks in cinema (video). Excellent purchase!
