I confess I bought them over a year ago. They have been kept indoors, in a drawer that we keep electronics in, neither in the heat nor in the cold, nor in unusual weather conditions. I went to get one the other day and noticed they were falling apart. Once the black fuzzy part separates from the plastic part, they become unusable. I realize I paid less than $10 for them but I didn't even get a chance to use half of them before they started falling apart, the ones I used also started falling apart. So, I will say that this product is not durable and not worth spending money on if it falls apart after just a year.
