These are the best cotton short I found so far.A lot of good points: thin and breathable; gave me no pimples or allergies even after a day of use; the crotch has extra sewing and is comfortable (can even hold a pantyliner); length is adequate (mid-thigh); and the elastic band makes it stray in place while being comfortable. I have an L and an XL set. The XL feels a bit lose (my jeans is 12), the L fits just right. I use XL for hone use/sleep, while L to go out (under skirts/dresses to prevent shafting).There are some shortcomings, though. The sewing is not very strong: some items in my L set came with a small hole in back sewing and other shorts developed the same issue after using. At the first wash the black and grey items will lose some paint, so wash them apart from the white shorts. There is some rolling up (this is mostly cotton after all) so make sure you pick a set that is tight (my XL rolls a lot!).After considering the trade-offs this is still THE BEST option I've found. For fit and comfort, only synthetic (polyester) shorts can beat it. But I have allergies and must use cotton!
