Based on the size chart I ordered a size small: it fits in the 6.5-8.5 range for women. I usually wear 7.5 inch shoes (smallest size 7 in shoes or sandals) so I figured a threshold of 6.5 would be fine for me. When I tried them on they were a little loose, about half an inch to an inch of play. I figured that maybe once I start moving (and my feet are swollen from the activity) they'll eventually be the right size. I bought them for sand volleyball so I took them running. Unfortunately, my fears were justified and my feet slipped everywhere. After all, they bothered me more than anything with all this slipping and now I can't get them back or use them and have effectively set $23 on fire. /:ProsThey kept my feet warm - too warm to be honest. Being the wrong size, the combination of that and sweaty feet made the fit worse. If the fit was right, that wouldn't be a problem. The velcro did a good job of protecting from sand. A clear plus. To be honest I was really hoping and wishing they would work. I think they would be perfect if the dimensions were more accurate. Can't justify buying the XS on top as the company's sizing chart says the small should fit.
