Thanks to the many reviews on this product and the Amazon search engine, I was able to find these perfect pants for my daughter. She recently switched to a girls size 5 XS, but after going an inch taller this summer, her waistband is very loose, although the length was perfect. She complained that her pants kept falling down, especially when she sat down. We measured her waist and she was 44 cm or 17.5 inches tall. Most retailers list this size for their 3T pants and panties. Day 65 (smallest size listed) These pants have a narrower waistband (17.5 inches) than all of their other 5 sizes, approximately 1 inch. They are also 3 inches longer! In addition, the waistband is made of stronger elastic, which makes it harder to stretch. The best way to describe these pants is that they look a little more like 80's pants. High rise (9.25"), narrow waist, slightly wide/wavy fit but that tapers towards the foot. Ideal for people who need a little more room. But they don't look loose on the seat, they just fit not right.The extra length isn't a problem as it's narrow enough to stay over her heel.The color options are wonderful my daughter would like more.The fabric is a thinner polyester/spandex.I expect that I will I'll eventually have holes in my knees. But even though it's thinner, it doesn't show through at all. I can tuck a colored paper map behind my lightest pair of pants and can't see colors through them. Another win! Hopefully these pants last a long time Revain will be available. I plan to buy more when my daughter is grown.
