Definitely worth it! I wanted a good quality 1/2 gallon water jug but I am picky and only drink cold water so I would pay double for a water jug insulator. The insulation can keep it cold a little longer, but not by much. I have found that freezing a full pitcher of water (not quite too solid ice) helps because the insulation keeps it from melting as quickly and also prevents sweating. This jug is definitely durable, it has survived several falls and has shown no signs of wear. . I haven't tested it in the dishwasher yet, but I'll say it's not easy to clean with a regular dishwashing brush. but for me the pros definitely outweigh the cons, worth buying if you want something cheaper than a water pitcher. Additional Bonuses: I've had so many compliments on the urban print and the little touches they've added like the carrying strap (a godsend!) and the phone holder and key clip are such practical and thoughtful additions!
