The tree was well packaged and protected. It was fairly easy to put together, but if you want it to look its best each light needs to be bent away from its branch to make it look more natural. This took up most of the time in the entire process. I ended up having to put weights on the floor to keep it stable (I have a cat) and ordered a wooden collar to hide the floor and weights. Overall, it's almost overwhelming given its size and number of lights. but I wanted LOTS of lights so this tree fits the bill! I've added a few cardinals with clips and plan on hanging my Christmas decorations on the tree in about a month - it's certainly strong enough to hold any of my decorations. I am very happy with this purchase - my only concern is how much it will increase my electric bill lol!
