Review on ๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ VIVO Adjustable Projection Mount VP01B - Universally Compatible for Optimal Viewing by Dewitt Bhattacharya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A small three-point connection to your projector? Yes it can! Do not give up.

I was trying to fit this 3 point fit to my Optoma HD146X and I figured it wouldn't work and I'd have to buy something else (in fact I placed an order). Revain on two other models and was willing to buy something for a specific model). But then I solved everything again and moved things around and it worked! See my first photo for the final configuration. It's important to note that the distances between the holes are not equal, so it matters which item you put where (because of the "three out of four" selection). Keep moving the device and try again The supplied screws are too short to fit the threads on this projector if you want to use a washer. It seemed like a good idea to use a washer, so I bought more screws (M4-.70x12) at the local hardware store and they worked great (1/2" length, not 3/8"). Also pay attention. that you don't have free access to all the points to tighten them all at once - you have to fasten them one at a time while the nuts on the round part have to be nice and loose to get things out of the way and then tighten everything up. I followed someone's example in these reviews to shorten the thing by removing a piece. Although my projector is currently hanging from the ceiling, due to leveling it is only attached with 2 screws, not 4. As a result, I would expect it to tilt to the right (as you can see in the photo) given the weight on that side is larger (unfortunately, the three mounting points are not over the center of gravity of the projector). If I get too tired to straighten it again I'll reattach all the parts (that I left) and just deal with it hanging a little lower. In general I would prefer to keep all parts included if doing this again.
