This seemed heavier than the one on etrailer.com so I bought it for my 2008 Honda Odyssey. The competitor's device is powered by an auxiliary source - plug in the fuse and off you go. This device requires the supplied cable to be routed under the vehicle to the battery. It's easy to drill a hole from the outside and thread the wire through, but it wasn't long enough so I had to make an extra joint. Again not difficult but I don't need to waste time. Battery connection lug too big for original Honda screw; holds, but sloppy. The trailer connector itself, the cords that came with it, weren't long enough for me to tuck the plug in the outlet area (as the instructions say) by about 3 feet. Again, not the end of the world, but not necessary either (one of the wires, the green one, was the right length, the other 3 weren't, so I had to coil it). Maybe just poor quality control on this device. The guide is pretty short but a competitor has a good video online.
