Review on Chemical Guys TVD_107_16 Non Greasy Dressing by Michael Tegan

Waste of money and labor (moisture destroys every benefit and job)

Instantly restores a new look to matte vinyl, rubber and plastic and is easy to install. That's it! There is nothing more positive to say about this product! It has no other properties that I think would be worth the hassle of applying and definitely not worth going to the post office to return! I followed her instructions exactly. By cleaning and pre-conditioning the surface before application, I even allow the product to soak in before wiping off excess and buffing with a clean cloth. Two days later discoloration and stains were everywhere so I reapplied their VRP product. The photos were taken after two full uses of VRPNow, a week later, and every VRP-protected part that fell victim to a little morning dew was streaked and faded (see photos) to the gray it was before I did spent a few hours on it. "restoring" all vinyls. and plastic with this VRP product (it's worth noting my car is under a covered carport) Save your money. Look at the pics then look elsewhere unless you live in an area that's completely dry year-round, or you just want to photograph a temporarily shiny car! Oh, I gave it five stars in the easy-to-remove category because ; all you need is water, in whatever form, dew, rain or your garden hose to wash it off (then you can admire the streaks it left)

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires base
