I'll never learn how to use a sewing machine, but it's a pandemic and I need to hem my pants. So I have to do it myself. This little guy doesn't have as many buttons as the others, which is a plus for a newbie. And I find it lightweight yet durable when used on my cotton pants. It also comes with a very detailed user menu, very useful for a newbie. Basically I am satisfied with the product.
