Poor fitting instructions but not impossible
Poor fitting instructions but not impossible. It works well. Without the upper cowling, there is a lot of unmachined aluminum visible compared to the OEM BMW mount. With the top cover installed, the aluminum between the gear seat and the bracket is visible. So the "finish" isn't as good as it should be on a $20,000 bike. However, it works well, just not attractively.
