I use these grinders every day. I cook dinner every night. And I, when it comes to my cooking, when I have to use these things, I get so irritated. The part of the stainless steel coffee grinder that you turn to grind the salt and pepper is not properly attached to the actual turning mechanism. So basically it just goes round and round without grinding anything. I have to tweak and twist at the very bottom to make it work. I know it's not the end of the world, but that's exactly why I bought this set: for the convenience and efficiency of sharpening. I bought this because of the many positive reviews. My mistake and my lesson. Unfortunately I cannot return this grinder set as the return period has expired. Thought I'd leave a review to discourage others from purchasing this set. Do not do that! It's not worth it!
