Now don't get me wrong this is a very comfortable hat that can be quite warm on the head. However that's as far as it goes for me. I love trapper hats because of their functionality for winter camping and hiking. They are the best at keeping your head, ears, and face warm while sleeping out in the cold. This hat however has the major flaw in that the ear/face flaps are waaay to long. When you clasp the buckle together and pull it as tight as it goes. There is a huge gap under my chin, which allows the flap to flop around, allowing the cold weather to ruin what the hat is supposed to do. Which makes it mostly useless for my intended purchase.With all that said if you just love trapper hats because of how they look and you want a very warm hat. This is great! It is super soft warm and roomy. It is a trapper hat that is designed to have form over function.
