Ridiculous that this is even sold on this site. I have no idea why people give five stars. You probably plug it in and see the screen turn on and immediately give it five stars. This cable is not VESA certified. In many cases, due to a problem with the 20th pin, it is not possible to turn off the computer without freezing. You can't restart shutdown or anything like that. Not to mention that those cheap cables can literally damage your computer. This product is absolute junk. There's no reason I'd ever want to spend $12 on a cable that can cause hundreds of dollars in damage and hours of headaches. This list should honestly be deleted.
