This item is great! From packaging to assembly to use, this item is convenient to use and my parrots love it. I use them in flight cages. Plenty of room for 2 parrots to perch plus treats. Cleaning is a breeze and you don't have to remove the entire platform from the cage. The flat part can be removed for cleaning. You then simply push it back into the socket. The grip feels good and firm. My only wish is that they make some smaller ones for small temporary cells.
