Review on 🔋 White First Alert CO615 Dual-Power Plug-In CO Detector with Battery Backup and Digital Display by Marc Gallner

I bought two of these after another cheaper carbon monoxide alarm went off in the middle of the night. I read some reviews of another carbon monoxide alarm with false alarms and convinced myself it was probably a false alarm, but I opened the windows to air out the house. I received them two days ago and they worked the first night. I opened the windows and concluded that it must have been my water heater, which was recently installed and failed the test. The code is scheduled for this week. To support my theory I made sure the central heating was off for the day and we didn't use the tumble dryer for a few days and I put one of these detectors in the laundry room. the room in which the instantaneous water heater is installed. We have one of those large whirlpool tubs in the master bathroom (hence the need to have a tankless tub) and took a bath last night. When we were done, the alarm clock rang. I did a little research prior to this test and knew that going too high (12,800ppm) could kill you instantly after just 2 or 3 breaths. I've read that 400+ can be deadly. Wikipedia claims that 800ppm will cause dizziness, nausea and convulsions within 45 minutes and make you pass out within 2 hours, while 1600ppm can kill you in 2 hours. So I went downstairs to look at the readings. I held my breath and went inside. He showed 875 parts per million. I called 911 and the fire department came. My wife, 2 years and 2 months, was upstairs in a room with the windows wide open. They came and took their statements. They said they would not be allowed to work in an environment where levels were above 30ppm without respirators. The windows were open for 15 minutes and they were still reading above 70. We later compared her professional monitor readings to my second First Alert carbon monoxide detector (remember I bought two of these). Their readings matched those of this device exactly. So you can trust these devices. Please trust your device. That's why you bought it. Call 911. Open the windows or get out of there. The long-term effects of carbon monoxide exposure can cause heart problems, learning disabilities, and many other terrible things. Now I'm worried about what this has done to my family in the last 4 months since the water heater was installed. Like I said, I have a 2 month old. I posted a picture of the device last night showing the maximum reading.
