Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Nintendo DSi XL Burgundy: Enhanced Gaming Experience with a Sleek Burgundy Design by Jason Paige

A spectacle for old eyes!

I'm 64 and my wife isn't (but she's close). I could see small objects better than them on the DS Lite. Although the XL screen size is great for both of us. Mahjong tiles and smaller elements in each game are much easier to see and match. My wife enjoys playing cards and was having trouble viewing card IDs on the DS Lite. However, the XL allows her to see the cards clearly so she can play. Weight is a factor, but I think the problem is getting used to holding it more than the weight itself. If the first DS had been this size and weight I doubt there would have been a problem . It's just a matter of adapting to something else. We are very impressed by the sound. We both have hearing problems and the music and voices are much clearer on the XL than on the DS Lite. The cameras take better quality photos than we expected. It was a big surprise. We don't have WiFi so I can't talk about those features. The games included are fun and we'll play them, but we didn't buy an XL (and are considering a second one). The main benefit for us was the larger size and we couldn't be happier. If you are older, try XL. The difference is amazing. And there are plenty of great games that can keep older people entertained (although there could and should be more if game designers were interested in a huge market). Another XL will almost certainly be ordered soon. (Also I've seen discussions about screen protectors. I bought Hori and installed them with no problems and the stylus works great with them. I reviewed it on Revain at the link below.) Nintendo DSi XL screen protector
