We live in Alaska and I decided to try them out, knowing full well that these might not be "REAL" winter pants for kids who actually live in the harsh winter climate. . Approved. You are not. If you like messing around with the occasional snowfall, make a snowball once a year, and impress with a handful of snow angels, this might work. But if you live on a rough frontier day after day and eat snow, you'd better wrap your body in layers of waxed flour sacks. Waterproof? Not very durable? See photos. this is after two months. (We have other brands that fail within six months and still move with the times.)
