I thought the third time might be the charm of this receiver but it isn't. I bought a Pyle receiver a few years ago so my boat just arrives and doesn't work out of the box. Fast forward to now, thought maybe the quality control would have been better, ordered one in black. Connected and NOTHING. When I reset it, it blinked "goodbye" and then turned off (so it's clearly powered). Sent it back and ordered in white hoping it might be a 3rd time. Just plugged it in and it does exactly the same thing as the other but more sporadically and inconsistently. I've tried everything to get it working. Checked the fuse. Connected to different batteries. I checked the connections/cables 4 times. All in all, unfortunately, I found it just a waste of time and energy.
