Review on Modern Matte Black 20W Vanity Light Up and Down LED Fixture for Bathroom Wall Lighting - Aipsun 24in, Cool White 5000K by Steve Rohde

We require reading lights above two beds, a sofa and a chair, we have ordered four of these in white with 32.6" warm white LEDs. All four are installed and working exactly as intended, they were installed by a fellow handyman which basically consisted of opening up the outlet at the correct height above the existing wall outlets and running new wiring from the existing outlet to the new one which doesn't have its own switch Our installer bought small toggle switches for each at Home Depot and put them in the new 3/4 inch hole on the right end of each bracket. When off, the switches turn on a small red LED, making them very easy to find in the dark. The result is impressive! The new lights are very bright but not distracting to look at: all of their light is directed up and down when mounted horizontally. (While that would be a good reason not to install them anywhere, someone would need to be looking directly at the LED lights.) As an unexpected bonus, the white finish matches the finish of the chair rails in our home and makes the installation look even more professional. Another advantage is that they only protrude one and a half centimeters from the wall and do not make our house look smaller. An option not currently offered is a shorter 12-inch white version with warm white LEDs. I was thinking of buying the 24" black version and repainting it, but the wall we'd like to hang it on over another chair really isn't wide enough to easily mount even a 24" lamp accommodate. A switch like the one we installed as an option. Highly recommended! Update: after measuring again, we COULD use the existing 24" version of the 3000K if it were also offered in white instead of just black, so hopefully that will be an option too.
