I am using this on my Samsung TV with Doss Soundbox speakers. The TV in my bedroom is so far from the bed that I have to turn it up pretty loud to hear it, so I decided to try a Bluetooth speaker next to the bed. Setting it up and pairing it was pretty easy - so easy that I just fell on my back trying to connect it to my speaker. However, the instructions are clear and include a small chart showing what mode you are in by color/blink rate. I plugged the device into the headphone jack on the TV and thought I had to go. in the sound settings to switch from the TV speakers to the audio output settings for listening on a Bluetooth speaker. I've found that by leaving the sound settings under TV Speakers, the sound comes through both the TV and the Bluetooth speaker, so I can easily mute or lower the volume on the TV when I'm listening through the BT speaker or want to turn the sound off. BT speakers when I want the sound to go through the TV - no need to change the TV settings.
