Review on Hypertech 730119 Speedometer Calibrator – High-performance Speed Calibration Tool by Jack Edwards

After installing 295/70R18 tires on my 2021 TRD Pro I wanted to put the speedo and shift points back in place. Installation following the instructions downloaded from Hypertech was very easy. Leave the USB cable connected to the device as you will need to play around with the settings to get the correct calibration. I found that when changing from Michelin factory tires to a 295/70R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3 I had to use the "Diameter" setting and set the original tires to 32" and the new tires to 33.5" (that's not their nominal size is listed as but that's the factor that worked) and then confirmed this with several different GPS units at different speeds. Best of all, the adaptive cruise control works correctly too.
