I have very thick hair, all the same length and below the waist. I've tried so many detangling brushes and they all hurt, pull and just don't work. I had to cut buns out of my hair even after fumbling with detangling brushes for hours. I live in Florida and drive a Jeep, so I'm in serious trouble! I decided to try this brush because its shape is different from other detangling brushes. I fell in love with this brush for the first time! No pain at all and it detangles my hair easily. Haven't tried it on wet hair but I think it works just as well. This brush allows me to detangle my hair painlessly and leaves it super soft and smooth. Anyone with very long hair knows how difficult it is to untangle knots. This brush is so amazing I am ordering 2 more today to keep one in the car and have a backup. Who ever made this brush is an angel for long haired girls all over the world!
