I love this 2-post bike rack

I love this 2-post bike rack. Previous reviews have been generally positive. Most of the stand is solidly built, but as others have pointed out, the adjustable strap holder can be moved around slightly and you'll have to tie it down or the straps will come loose. Other points to note: - The connection on the post is not galvanized, so the various nuts will rust quickly if you live in a humid environment. - The middle set of clips doesn't fit properly around the edges of my 2014 Kia Sorento. They are not tight enough and they slip. I tried lengthening the center grip straps under the tailgate. The angle is wrong and the clamps are still loose. The two bike version doesn't protrude far enough from the vehicle meaning one bike will rub against the other again or the pedals will rub against the vehicle causing scratches - We found the rubber straps holding the bikes difficult to secure. They stay on and are easy to remove, but putting them on can cause pain in your thumbs. If there was a problem, I would take the stance and be done with it. A neighbor was brought in to test other types of bikes but agreed with the same issues I had pointed out. For now I'll be using a used bike rack I bought at a flea market.
