Is This the Paper of Your Kiln Dreams? Prettyia's CeraTex 3170 Delivers

I'm no expert on ceramic fiber insulation paper, but I have to say, Prettyia's CeraTex 3170 really impressed me. For one thing, it's incredibly versatile - I've found uses for it in everything from my kiln to my furnace. It's also very easy to work with, thanks to its 1/4" thickness and 24" x 12.5' roll, so you can easily cut it to whatever size you need. On the downside, I did find that the paper was a bit delicate at times, and I had to be careful not to tear it. But overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and I'd definitely recommend the CeraTex 3170 to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality insulation paper for their glass fusing, kiln, stove, or furnace needs.

Pros
  • Durability: Made from high-quality ceramic fiber material, this insulation paper is incredibly durable and can withstand high temperatures for long periods of time. It is also resistant to corrosion and will not break down over time, making it a great investment for any industrial or high-temperature application
Cons
  • Expensive: Compared to other insulation materials, the Ceramic Fiber Insulation Paper CeraTex 3170 is relatively expensive, making it a less cost-effective solution for those on a budget
