I bought this device based on reviews but it doesn't even come into the It's not working at all on Android devices (I've tried 2 different devices, Galaxy Note 7 and Verizon tablet - the device closes after scanning.) On Windows 10, the UI doesn't show anything during the scan happens (except that the scanner light is on). It also "docks" to the side of the screen and can only move up and down. At vertik However, it completely fails to capture text (using both Japanese language settings) and correctly captures horizontally about 30% of the time (the rest of the time it just fills the text box with nothing and occasionally gives a message about scanning too slow/fast/whatever always off. This product should be back in the testing environment for a few months - its translation features seem relatively advanced, but they're utterly useless if you can't get the original data in.
