This little set is perfect for imaginative play. And coming from Kidcraft, you expect the best. This product is no exception. The set is colourful, cute, durable, high quality and perfect for little hands. Not to mention they are true to scale too. Not only with each other, but also with a suitable children's kitchen. For our daughter's second birthday we got this set of dishes and the matching pastel colored kitchen. She loves "cooking" so they were perfect. I've never eaten so much wrong food in my life lol. She will stand and play with them for hours. They are also a great "toy" on their own. I put the toy in quotes because I think such things can teach a child really valuable lessons. Things they will have to do later in life, like cooking and washing dishes. And maybe even learn to enjoy it (well, not so much washing dishes, because who likes it? Haha!). When you get this set, I would also recommend giving them in-game food. There are many great brands out there, both plastic and wooden, that fit into different price ranges and different quantities. They're perfect for tossing in those little pots, pans, and bowls! All in all, this is a wonderful educational toy that children will enjoy for years to come.
