I have ordered two sets to test. I hang all my tops except sweaters and hang a lot of my shirts to dry so I don't have to tumble dry them. I hate the "bumps" on hangers, especially on the top sleeve of my button-down shirt. I don't mind folding sweaters so can't speak to those heavy hangers but they are metal and seem sturdy enough. I tried the velvet coated hangers and found them annoyingly sticky and still too wide. The coating on these hangers is non-slip but not too heavy, so you can place the stitching where you like and it will stay there, which is part of the trick to a nice shirt. The crease at this allows the top shoulder seam to hang down without forming it. I'm a medium height woman and I've gently tucked the bottom edge of the fold in and the sleeve hangs even better. I have just ordered another set and after my first attempt to get rid of some clothes I will probably get more in the future.
