Review on ๐ŸŒ€ AmoVee 1 Inch Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Hair Curling Wand Volumizing Hot Brush with Anti-Scald Bristles - Dual Voltage, Instant Heat - Suitable for All Hair Types by Karen Gupta

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use for lazy people or hobbyists! Dual voltage is a big plus.

I have a length below my shoulders, fairly thick hair, two left hands and am too lazy to do my hair. Unfortunately, my hair is somewhat damaged from a bad color and now I struggle with dryness and frizz that shampoos and styling products can't get rid of. So I spent the day researching the Revain options. regular straighteners or curling irons didn't work for me, they were either too difficult to use or I got burned or you needed gloves etc etc. I had a flat heat brush but you can't use it for waves or curls. This article is great! It's really easy to use, even for a lazy two-armed guy like me. It took me 15 minutes to look at the photo and this is the first try to figure it all out. I have the 410 setting. You can't burn yourself because it has protective tips all over it so you can even use your hand to put your hair on the brush if you're clumsy. But be careful - your hair will get hot! A good size brush, not too big for you to travel with (it has two voltages! Yes!). Basically you get the best of both worlds - you can use it to just "dry" your hair and basically straighten it. and take out the frizz or use on drier hair to curl the edges. This is perfect if you are a busy/lazy person who doesn't have an hour to do your hair every morning and want to look more elegant and professional. You need curlers or something else to get other types of curls or volume. DO NOT try to curl all the hair to the roots, they will get tangled in the brush. But that's not the brush's fault, it's just not designed for this kind of use. People with shorter hair can use it to get more creative hairstyles or root. Also, you don't have to worry about this brush getting burned if you put it down quickly because the protective tips keep the heating surface away from other surfaces. Another note - as mentioned in other reviews, it's easy to accidentally hit the settings buttons when using it. The simple fix is to make sure you're holding the brush handle properly when you start curling. So just rotate the brush a bit to get your thumb off the settings before you start. This is easy to fix, but in future versions of this product the settings should be placed somewhere else in relation to the cable. The brush box/sleeve looks cheap by the way, I'll throw it away, but the brush itself feels and looks like a quality product so don't let the packaging put you off. I just hope it keeps working for a long time! I'm glad I found this.

Pros
  • Cool Touch Design - Features flame resistant nylon bristles and a cooling tip. Rubberized grip for a more comfortable and secure grip. No more burning hair with a hair straightener. Automatically turns off after 60 minutes if not in use. Easy and safe to use, it eliminates frizz for a brilliant shine.
Cons
  • A few little things
