I needed a small fan for my desk and bought it cheaply. It's so loud, even on the lowest settings, that I have to buy another one. You cannot use this during a conference call. Another thing is the location of the power button on the back. Based on the design, I don't think it could be anywhere else, but the button is difficult to find by touch. You'll most likely need to pick it up and visually locate the button to turn it on. Not a deal breaker, just an inconvenience. However, the noise level is a crucial factor. I would send it back but I have already recycled the cardboard.
