Review on A4Tech G800V Silent Gaming Keyboard by Janis Janis ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

I was looking for a suitable keyboard for a very long time, because of one game I had the need to crouch on the spacebar, and jump to the alt, and this worked great in online shooters, but pressing the jump on the alt with my thumb was not very convenient. then I started looking for a keyboard with additional keys and saw this one, and this is the only keyboard with a short space. I have a jump on this extra key between alt and space and it's very convenient. besides, the location of the G11 key between ESC and F1 is a very important button. I have a map opening on it in almost all games (almost everywhere the map in games opens with the M button, which you can’t reach very quickly and you can still press a bunch of things along the way), I don’t know how people miss and press either escape or f1 or instead of escape . I have no problems with this. she is where she needs to be. but for the rest of the buttons you constantly miss and get confused, although the location of the main keys is standard, it’s not clear why such a paradox is, in fact I type in blind typing and it’s not critical for me, nevertheless the keyboard was bought for games, but I also have to type a lot. Generally broken. handled carefully, didn’t spill anything, didn’t drop it, but periodically began to turn off, maybe just like that in inactivity, maybe in games, absolute random, it turns on in the device manager and works again for a while, sometimes the keys don’t respond, then suddenly wake up. I'll take it to the service, since there are 5 more keyboards at home, but this one is the most convenient. There is also a Bloody zl5 mouse bought a little earlier, also with a bunch of extra keys and very cool and comfortable. while alive, but if it closes in the near future, then A4tech will die for me forever like Asus. You don't need to encourage cheaters. Before there was quality, now it's just trash. mouse x710 bk lived 7 years and is still alive. I will not advise, I took it specifically for my needs and knew what I took and it suits me perfectly. if not for the breakdown, I would have been happy further, and no mechanical trinkets with LGBT backlights are needed. but alas.

Pros
  • 1. Convenient location of additional keys and a pleasant rubberized coating of WASD and arrows. 2. Lots of extras keys that are really located at hand and in games are sometimes very necessary. 3. Short space. 4. Additional key between alt and space. 5. Multimedia keys (At least the volume control is a very necessary block). 6. Macros (I don't use them, but still). 7. The ability to configure the keyboard for game mode and print, for example, for articles with all sorts of inserts and quickly switch between these modes. 8. Price - 1600r, you can take it, but a bit slaughtered and on the PS2 port, not USB.
Cons
  • 1. Broke after half a year 2. Very heavy 3. The location of the cable in the center, in my situation - pushing the keyboard to the monitor, it constantly bends and can simply break someday. 4. The design was ugly when it was released, after so many years they could not ate their best gaming keyboard. a shame! the designer would tear off his hands and insert matches. 5. It takes a very long time to get used to. difficult to print. 6. The volume buttons are not located correctly, add the bottom, turn down the top, on all my keyboards it's the other way around, which is constantly confusing. You can't do everything perfectly, you have to mess it up. 7. Passed out at the time of writing this review.
