Poor production
I bought two of these extenders. On both devices, the USB ports don't seem to match the case, so there's no problem plugging in the USB cable at all. Also, there is a distinct humming noise when both of the devices I bought were plugged into an outlet. I would add that the braid felt well done and solid on both devices and that the concept would have worked, at least for me. However, given the information provided above, I have returned both devices and cannot recommend this product.
