Bought this as I was looking for the perfect grip solution for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and I wanted something Versatile, easy to hold and removable when I don't need it. It's tested most of my boxes, but it's really picky. When you need it for a hold, it seems like a real hassle to take out the wires only to bother to wind them back up when you're done. After a while, I just unplugged the cables to hold when I know I won't be putting the phone down for a while, otherwise I'll just keep the drive to myself. So I really only use the pickup wires when I'm home to read a book or something. The ability to mount it almost anywhere is a HUGE plus, either via a tripod mount with a camera clamp mount or via mounting wires. just wrap it up somewhere or hang it up. However, it's a pain to carry with me when connected to the phone, I find it difficult to get it in and out of my pocket, and when I need to put it in a car mount or on a desktop stand, I have it to take off. And since I don't often use cords to hold them in my hands, most of the time I don't use them in my phone and keep them at home either by my bed or in my bag. instead, one could simply install Magsafe ring adapters. This IMStick grip is MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR MAGSAFE. In my opinion, the plates that come with it look a lot worse than a plain silver or black magsafe ring. BLOCKS WIRELESS CHARGING. I rarely use wireless charging, but I like my skills. I ended up buying Magsafe ring plates and using them in conjunction with the thinner Magsafe ring grip. And I keep my IMStick in my pocket in case I need to plug my phone somewhere.
