I love this product and have been using it for over 40 years! They remove every eye makeup I've ever used! Yes, they are fat. The first ingredient is mineral oil! It is an oil that removes waterproof mascara. I use an eye makeup/mascara removal pad first, then use a tissue to gently remove oil and mascara, then wash my face with another facial cleanser. Everything is well removed, there is no more oil. I would not recommend using these facial makeup remover pads as the mineral oil can clog your pores. I've tried other non-greasy eye makeup remover pads and none worked without losing a lot of lashes. I will not use any other product. I'm so excited to find them on Amazon (at an amazing price!) as my local store has stopped selling them! The best eye makeup remover!
